Call to teachers
Design a teaching plan and take part in the
International teacher's prize
To recognise the efforts of teachers and educators who get their pupils involved in our action, we have set up the "International Teacher's Prize"
This competition, open to all countries, will give a prize to the candidate who sends in the best dossier presenting the events he or she ran as part of World Children's Poetry Day.
The Prize :
The prizewinner will be invited to spend three days in Belgium meeting our team and representatives of the public authorities or of any other non-governmental organisation likely to assist its action.
Travel and accommodation costs will be paid by the World Children's Poetry Day organisation.
A single winner will be selected each year.

Participants in the “International Teacher’s Prize” contest are requested to follow the rules hereafter :
- We are asking teachers, educators and facilitators to develop an educational approach for the children on the theme of 2009.
- Participants will prepare a file describing the methodology they adopted with their pupils in order to discuss the theme in question : “Let children speak”
- Participants are requested to indicate their family name, first name, address, and the telephone number of their school as well as their private address.
- On receipt of the file an acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you.
- Documents received will not be returned.
